We went to the Global festival in a local park over the weekend. It featured food and culture from all over the world. It was nice to have a chance to try out different food at one place.
This is a Japanese pancake called Okonomiyaki. It is made from a special batter mixed with cabbage and corn and topped with teriyaki sauce. Delicious!
We then went to one of the oldest bookstore in town, Vroman's. It has many books that we don't often see in other bookstores. The Crafter's Companion features many popular crafters. It gave me a lot of inspiration.
The other one is Downtown DIY Sewing. It has a lot nice patterns and the styles are very up-to-date. Definitely recommended if you are planning to do some sewing.
