We went to Farrell's last weeked. It is an old ice cream parlour with a lengthy bumpy history which has recently got back into business. We've heard that people had waited for two hours in line to get in. There was a long line outside the restaurant as expected when we arrived. Luckily, the wait wasn't that bad for party of two. Our server offered us each a lovely Farrell's Sundae News. When we flipped the page, we found a typical old fashioned soda fountain menu of salad, sandwiches, burgers and a full page of candy sweet desserts and sundaes. 
Overall, the food was decent and fresh and service was great. I was impressed by the delicious sundae which I finished without feeling it was too much. The only down side was I wasn't a big fan of the frequent drum roll announcements. But we will definitely be back! =)
